As you will read in my profile, for many years I was a Midwifery Sister, for the main part working in the Delivery Suite. After leaving the NHS and retraining as a Clinical Hypnotherapist I have specialised in Hypnosis for Childbirth.
In my blogs I will be recounting women's birth stories. Many of the women have written down their stories for me to use, to demonstrate the effectiveness of of using hypnosis in labour. Other stories have just been told to me and these too will be included in this blog.
After eight years of teaching women these techniques I am still amazed at the difference hypnosis makes to women's experience of childbirth.
